Eluru: On the 29th of November 2022, Mr. Y. Lakshmana Rao, who diligently served in the Eluru District Home Guard Unit, tragically succumbed to illness. In recognition of his service and to support his bereaved family, a total sum of Rs.5,45,990/- was disbursed from the Home Guard Welfare Fund. This financial assistance, presented in the form of checks, was graciously handed over by Ms. Dasari Mary Prasanthi IPS, the esteemed Superintendent of Police for Eluru District, to Mr. Rao’s grieving mother, Nagamani. This gesture not only honors Mr. Rao’s commitment but also underscores the compassionate support extended by the law enforcement community during times of loss and hardship.
