Hoshiarpur: Hoshiarpur district is located in the north-east part of the State. It falls in the Jalandhar Revenue Division and is situated in the Bist Doab, Doaba region of the State. The district is sub mountainous and stretches of river Beas in the north-west.
Under the direction of Mr. Navjot Singh Mahal IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP) Mr. Mukerian Ravinder Singh IPS DSP and SHO Hajipur police station Mr. Lomesh Sharma held a meeting with the Sarpanchs, Nambardaras and Panchayat members of the villages, in which he apprised all the Sarpanches about the instructions issued by the government and warned them to take precautions against the deadly Coronavirus disease.
