Hyderabad: In light of the rapidly spreading omicron virus in the public and also in the Hyderabad City Police, Commissioner of Police Hyderabad city Mr. C.V.Anand IPS conducted a detailed inspection of the 5 floors of the CP Office along with Additional CP L&O -DS Chauhan IPS and DCP Admin Ms. D. Sunitha Reddy, he went into each and every room, checked on the cleanliness and conditions prevailing in the various rooms and offices. He made suggestions to increase the ventilation in the rooms, improve the social distancing within the limited space available, wearing of masks at all times. He gave instructions about not having tea and lunch in groups. The inflow of Police personnel from various police stations and wings to the CP Office will also be controlled from today and it’ll be done online as far as possible.
Instructions were given to the concerned to get the furniture meant for visitors to be painted, the toilets and washrooms to be kept clean and fresh. Funds were sanctioned for sanitizer, masks, etc., to be bought and distributed.
The CP visited the social media wing, the command control center, the traffic command center and enquired about the no of CCTVS actually working in the field, the status of various IT projects being monitored in the CP Office. He appreciated the concerned ministerial staff for looking after the welfare of 18000 city police personnel and also the IT wing for managing the various initiatives very well and maintaining their functionalities. He asked everyone to take care while discharging duties.
