Hyderabad City: The Hyderabad City Home Guards Officers who are working in Law and amp; Order, Traffic, Crime and other specialized wings to serve the public have been awarded 3 Ati Utkrisht Seva Padak for Mr. V. Venkateshwara Rao HG, Mr. E. Venkateshwar Rao HG &amp and Mr.P Ranga Raju HG.

The Utkrisht Seva Padak has been awarded for 24 personal, they are Mr. Narsimha Goud HG, Mr. R Praveen Raj HG, Mr. M Sheshaiah HG, Mr. K Venkatesh HG, Mr. C Srinivas HG, Mr. PLaxmaiah Goud HG, Mr. A Sadanandam HG, Mr. A Raju HG, Mr. V Bhagath HG, Mr. S Ravinder Singh HG, Mr. T Venkat Swamy HG, Mr. P Pradeep Kumar Reddy, HG, Mr. Guni Krishna, HG, Mr. P. Venkata Subba Reddy, HG, Mr. P Yellaiah HG, Mr.Shaik Afzal Hussain HG, Mr.P Aravind Kumar HG, Mr. M Surya Prakash HG, Mr. S Bal Raj HG, Mr. K Prasad HG, Mr. AL Narsimha Sharma HG, Ms. Esther Rani HG, Mr. S Anjaiah HG & Mr. K. Venkatesham HG for Home Guards (HG) of Hyderabad City by the CP, Hyderabad. In view of recognizing their meticulous selfless service to Protect man and material, saving the life of Public, and also maintain peace and harmony, panic situation during Election, VVIP & VIP Bandobust, Ganesh & bonalu, Muharram other important bandobasts. During the COVID pandemic situation, they faced a challenging position to bring glory to the department. The Home Guard Officers are committed to their lawful duties and have given their best.

Home Guard officers are the major component in Hyderabad city with the occupation of 40% strength of the Hyderabad city police in assisting the L&amp 0rder, controlling traffic, etc., During the COVID-19 pandemic, Home Guard officers have exhibited a vital role in strict implementing lockdown including B.B.at COVID Hospitals and Containment zones as FRONT LINE WORRIERS besides smooth transportation of Migrant labors to their respective states.

During the course, 1106 Home Guard officers were also diagnosed with COVID-19 Positive, and all have survived and become COVID Warriors.

Every year on average 100 persons who attempt to commit suicide in Hussain Sagar Lake are saved by the Home Guard officers of Lake Police Station.
