Hyderabad: In a momentous occasion aimed at acknowledging the commitment of Traffic Farishtey Volunteers and promoting road safety, the Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) hosted the Traffic Forum Felicitation Event. The event commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, IPS Commissioner of Police, & Chairman, HCSC, other dignitaries, Traffic Farishtey and participants for their presence.
The highlights of the event included the launch of Free Left Boards, a significant stride towards smoother traffic flow and enhanced road safety, supported by HCSC. Additionally, an ambulance donated by VST. PVT. LTD was inaugurated by Mr. Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hydrabad, Chairman HCSC.
The event featured giving an overview of HCSC activities and programs by Mr. Chaitanya Gorrepati, Secretary General HCSC, induction of a few new members and speeches by the organizers.
Mr. Rajashekar Reddy, Joint Secretary for HCSC Traffic Forum, shared the Traffic Forum achievements, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in promoting responsible traffic habits.
Mr. P. Viswa Prasad IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Convenor, HCSC, urged citizens to join the Traffic Farishtey Program, emphasizing the collective responsibility for road safety. The launch and unveiling of Free Left Boards was done by Mr. Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy Garu, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hydrabad, Chairman, HCSC, marked a significant step towards enhancing traffic management in Hyderabad.
Meru International School, Miyapur, added a creative touch to the event with a skit on road safety with a message of responsible commuting.
The event concluded with the felicitation of 40 Traffic Farishtey volunteers and 5 Traffic leaders, acknowledging their vital role in ensuring smooth traffic flow and creating awareness about road safety. Mr. Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy Garu, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, addressed the audience, expressing his appreciation for the collective efforts towards a safer community.
The HCSC looks forward to continuing its impactful journey toward a safer and more aware community on the roads.

The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) has been launched by the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate in collaboration with all establishments, government and citizens across various zones of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. This is a not-for-profit society to promote safety and security involving all the stakeholders of the community.
This concept primarily adopts Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in serving the society in the areas of Women safety, Traffic safety, Infrastructure safety, Cyber security and Anti – Narcotics. HCSC is a unique initiative to promote awareness on personal safety and security, reduce crime and work towards enhancing safety and security in the city making Hyderabad a safe destination for living and businesses to flourish.
