Hyderabad City, Telangana, July 3: In his capacity as Additional District Magistrate (Executive), Commissioner of Police Hyderabad, Shri C.V. Anand, IPS, conducted a court session under Section 126 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to address a dispute between two factions of the religious organization Deendar Anjuman.
The issue, arising from a land dispute within Mehdipatnam Police Station limits, has led to repeated public disturbances during religious gatherings, raising serious concerns about law and order.
During the session, the Station House Officer of Mehdipatnam briefed the Commissioner about the nature of the rivalry. Both groups were presented with video evidence of a recent altercation and were given an opportunity to submit their claims.
Commissioner Anand issued a stern warning to both parties, clearly stating that any future breach of peace or unlawful activity would invite strict legal consequences. He emphasized the police department’s zero-tolerance stance on disturbances that threaten communal harmony.
The matter has been adjourned for further hearing, with continued monitoring by law enforcement to ensure peace and public safety.
