Hyderabad City, Telangana, July 3: A convergence meeting for Operation Muskan-XI (July 1–31, 2025) was held under the chairmanship of the District Collector, Hyderabad, with key participation from DCP Dr. Lavanya N.J.P., senior officials from various departments, and representatives from child welfare NGOs.
The meeting focused on implementing coordinated strategies to rescue and rehabilitate missing children, victims of trafficking, and child labourers. As part of the operation, 28 specially trained police teams have been formed to conduct citywide rescue drives throughout the month.
Children rescued during the operation will be presented before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for proper care, counseling, and rehabilitation.
Officials urged the public to actively support the mission by reporting any instances of child exploitation or trafficking to the helpline 1098 or the nearest police station.
Operation Muskan-XI reflects the Hyderabad City Police’s unwavering commitment to child protection and inter-agency collaboration for a safer, abuse-free society.
