Hyderabad City: The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Chandrayangutta Police apprehended one notorious habitual house burglar by name Mohammed Saleem alias Sunil Shetty aged 46 years and detected 12 Housebreaking by Day/Night offenses in Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates. Total recovered gold ornaments weighed about 36.5 Tulas and Silver Ornaments about 1 KG. The total worth is about 18 lakhs.
The Details of the seized property from the accused are as follows: Gold ornaments weighing about 365 grams, Silver ornaments weighing about 900 grams, 1Screw Driver, and 1 Cutting player.
Presently the cases that were detected are 3 cases from Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad; 1 case from Chatrinka, Hyderabad; 1 Case from Falaknuma, Hyderabad; 3 Cases from Pahadishareef, Rachakonda; 4 Cases from Balapur, Rachakonda.
The accused Mohammed Saleem alias Sunil Shetty is born and brought up in Kummarawadi, Fathedarwaja area of Hyderabad city. He is a notorious house burglar and involved in more than 160 cases of house burglaries in 3 Commissionerates. He has been committing offenses since 1991 and he is CDC of Falaknuma Police Station. In the year, 2018 he was arrested at Kanchanbagh Police Station. Later, PD Act was initiated and he was detained. In the month of March-2021, he was released from jail and again committed 12 house burglaries in Hyderabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates.
On tip-off information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Chandrayanagutta Police apprehended the accused, detected 12 cases, and recovered the stolen property at his instance. The apprehended accused along with seized property handed over to the SHO Chandrayangutta Police Station for further investigation.
The above arrest was made under the supervision of Mr. Chakravarthy Gummi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad City by Mr. S. Raghavendra, Inspector Police, South Zone, and Sls Mr. K. Chandra Mohan, Mr. V.Narender, Mr, N. Srishylam, Mr. Mohd Thakiuddin, and Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with Chandrayangutta Police.
