Hyderabad: City police were alerted to the attack on Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday afternoon at the Chazersi toll plaza near Delhi.
The senior police officials met the officers of the sensitive areas in the five zones of Hyderabad, Rachakonda, and Cyberabad Commissionerates.
All inspectors were ordered to intensify patrolling and closely monitor the developments. All officers were asked to stay overnight at police stations and move within their jurisdiction to prevent any untoward incidents.
Additional police forces were deployed to some police stations in the city to strengthen Bandobast. Some important junctions have been established by police pickets at points, pointing to any protests.
Police were also alerted in some districts including Adilabad, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad. Senior officials also reviewed the security assigned to all AIMIM legislators.
