Hyderabad, Telangana, July 12, 2025: In a swift and coordinated operation, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South East Zone, in collaboration with Rein Bazar Police, apprehended a habitual offender and successfully recovered stolen cash amounting to ₹5,97,800.
Based on reliable intelligence, the police team tracked and arrested Shaik Hafeezuddin (22), a wall painter from Shah Colony, Dabeerpura, Hyderabad. Investigations revealed that the accused, driven by addiction and a desire to maintain a lavish lifestyle beyond his means, resorted to property theft.
On July 11, 2025, near Waheedunnisa Begum Masjid, he used a duplicate key to open the dickey of a parked Scooty and stole a black polythene bag containing a substantial amount of cash.
Following the complaint, a case was registered at Rein Bazar Police Station (Cr. No. 108/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS), and the accused was taken into custody. The full amount of stolen cash was recovered and seized.
