Hyderabad City, Telangana, July 12: In preparation for the upcoming Bonalu festival, a high-level coordination meeting was convened at Chatrinaka Police Station to review and finalize arrangements, with special focus on the South Zone celebrations, particularly at the iconic Lal Darwaza Ujjaini Mahankali Ammavari Temple.
The meeting was jointly chaired by Smt. Sailaja, Principal Secretary to the Government (Endowments), and Shri Vikram Singh Maan, Additional Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City.
Detailed discussions were held to ensure the safe, secure, and well-organized conduct of the festivities. Key areas of focus included:
- Robust security deployment to manage large crowds and maintain law and order
- Efficient traffic management to ensure smooth vehicular movement during processions
- Provision of essential civic amenities such as drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, and sanitation facilities
Officials from various departments—Police, Endowments, GHMC, Electricity, Water Supply, and others—along with representatives from temple committees, actively participated in the meeting. The joint efforts aim to provide a safe and seamless experience for devotees, particularly at key temples like Lal Darwaza and Ujjaini Mahankali.
The Hyderabad City Police reaffirmed its commitment to public safety and cultural harmony, working closely with civic bodies and stakeholders to uphold the festive spirit of Bonalu.
