Telangana, Hyderabad City: Following the instructions of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, the 20th (B) Phase auction of condemned scrap vehicles was conducted by the Hyderabad City Police at Goshamahal Police Stadium, Hyderabad, on Monday, January 27, 2025. This auction was organized in view of the proposed relocation of Osmania General Hospital to Goshamahal Stadium, under the supervision of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City.
During the event, Smt. Rakshitha Krishnamurthy, IPS, DCP CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad, and Chairman of the auction committee, addressed the bidders—primarily from the automobile industry—and urged them to participate in a fair and transparent manner.
Approximately 150 bidders from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra attended the auction. A total of 537 vehicles (355 two-wheelers, 70 three-wheelers, 102 four-wheelers, and 10 heavy vehicles) along with about 5 tons of iron scrap were auctioned in scrap condition, generating Rs.56,10,000/-. The proceeds will be deposited into the Government Treasury.
