CHENNAI: A team of Intelligence Bureau from Rajasthan had come to Chennai to trace a man based on evidence in connection to three transactions he had made to ISIS. Sources said, a 40-year-old man from Chennai was arrested along with three others while trying to smuggle Rs 1 crore worth gold bars from Rajamundhry recently at Arambakkam near Chennai. He was picked up for questioning by central agencies for his suspected links with ISIS. Mohamed Iqbal has been picked up after he was found donating generously to ISIS. Four people were nabbed by the intelligence officials’ team with 3.3 kg of 20 gold bars worth Rs 1 crore, in an omnibus coming from Rajahmundry to Chennai at Arambakkam near Gumudipoondi in neighboruing Thiruvallur district. Later all the four were later handed over to DRI for further action with regard to smuggling while Mohamed Iqbal was taken for further questioning him on money donation to ISIS, source said. ]]>
