Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, November 5, 2025: As part of his inspection of the Chikkamagaluru District Police Unit, Shri Vikas Kumar Vikas, IPS, Inspector General of Police (Operations), Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, visited the District Armed Reserve (DAR) premises today and planted a sapling, promoting the message of environmental responsibility.
On this occasion, Dr. Vikram Amate, IPS, Superintendent of Police, and Shri C.T. Jayakumar, Additional Superintendent of Police, also participated in the green initiative by planting saplings within the DAR campus.
This initiative reflects the police department’s continued commitment to environmental conservation and maintaining a clean and green police environment.
