Tiruvarur: A man was arrested for illegally selling tobacco in Nannilam area. Rajagopal and his son Shekhar of Nallumangudi Aishwarya Nagar, Nannilam, Tiruvarur district were selling banned tobacco products like gutka paan masala. According to a tip-off the police conducted a raid and seized Hans 495 packets Pan masala 180 packets V1 270 packets. Tiruvarur District Superintendent of Police Mr. S. Jayakumar MSc Agri has warned that people selling tobacco illegally like this will be identified and action will be taken.
