Rachakonda: Commissioner DS Chauhan IPS of Rachakonda CP visited the Kapra and Safilguda ponds today in observance of Ganesh Chaturthi. Following the visit, he held discussions with officials and provided them with necessary instructions. Addressing the media, Commissioner Chauhan assured that, as in previous years, comprehensive measures are being implemented to ensure the smooth progress of Ganesh Navratri festivities in Rachakonda. Various amenities including cranes, barricades, fresh water provisions, designated swimming areas, and illumination are being arranged at the immersion sites. He emphasized that they are maintaining excellent cooperation with partnering departments.
It has been stated that this year’s arrangements surpass those of the previous year, aiming to ensure devotees encounter no inconveniences regarding safety and well-being. Commissioner Chauhan disclosed that a collaborative meeting was conducted with officials from all relevant government departments overseeing the immersion process. This year, they are enforcing stricter security measures to ensure a peaceful immersion. Additionally, they reviewed the immersion protocols and procedures followed in prior years. Commissioner Chauhan was accompanied by DCP Giridhar and other distinguished IPS officers.
