Dindigul: Vigneshpandi (31) of Ayyambalayam, Dindigul district, reported to the Dindigul District Cybercrime Police Station that he received information through a link sent by a mysterious person asking him to do KYC update and cheated him of Rs.1,00,000/-. Dindigul District Superintendent of Police, Mr. V. Baskaran IPS, on the basis of the information provided by him, Dindigul Cyber Crime Police took swift action and froze the bank account of the suspect and recovered Rs.1,00,000/- on 16.9.2022, Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Mr. V. Bhaskaran IPS handed over Rs.1,00,000/- to Mr. Vigneshpandi.
