SAHARANPUR: A group of people in Rampur Maniharan area in Uttar Pradesh allegedly set fire to a vehicle that was carrying beef today. Superintendent of Police Mr. Sanjay Singh said, a mob went on a rampage after they intercepted a pick-up vehicle, allegedly carrying beef and it was set on fire. The SP added that, the Police had to lathicharge to disperse the crowd. A case of beef smuggling has been registered in this connection and investigations were on.]]>
