Tiruvarur: Tiruvarur District Superintendent of Police Mr.S.Jayakumar, M.Sc, (Agri.) investigated the occurrence of high number of accidents near Northangudi Divisional Road which is four lane within Valangaiman Police Station limits, Nannilam Sub division, Tiruvarur District, and to prevent the accidents the SP asked the ONGC officials to install high-tower lights and traffic lights. Due to the diligent efforts and continuous action of the District Superintendent of Police, High Tower Lights-2 and Automatic Traffic Signal Lights-4 worth around 10-Lakh near Northangudi Division Road (Four Lane) were installed on 01.08.2024 for public use. District Superintendent of Police, Mr.S.Jayakumar, M.Sc, (Agri), informed the public that everyone must follow traffic rules and road rules to avoid accidents and the importance of wearing helmets.
