Siliguri: Keeping in view the welfare needs of police personnel, especially their families, a serene lawn called udyaan has been made in Police Lines Mallaguri of Siliguri Police Commissionerate. Also, a provision has been kept for screening of a movie every weekend.
Today, Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS, CP Siliguri inaugurated this Udyaan in the presence of senior officers and police families. He extolled the support of the families of police personnel.
‘Dasvi’, a movie emphasizing the value of education, was screened at the Udyaan.
