Siliguri: Today, the following new facilities were started in Bhaktinagar Police Station with a view to providing a hygienic, clean and professional work environment to the police personnel. This will also enable our unit to become more citizens friendly. The units are Conference Hall, changing Room for Women Personnel as well IOs room for them, child-Friendly corner, a small gym, saluting base for various ceremonies.
Also, the exteriors of the Police Station have been cleaned and turned into a small garden to enhance the aesthetics. These facilities were inaugurated by Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS CP Siliguri in presence of other senior officers. More such initiatives are planned to make the campus of police units cleaner and citizen-friendly.
