Nagaland: The troops of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles in a joint operation with the Nagaland Police apprehended 3 cadres of Kuki Revolutionary Army accused of killing their faction chief Jaggin Baite and his bodyguard from Lilen Village in Peren district of Nagaland on 1st June 2011.
It may be mentioned here that Jaggin Baite, Chief of Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA), and his bodyguard L. Hangshing were reportedly shot dead at Lhungtin village Saikul in Manipur on April 29 last.
