Siliguri: The Indian Army has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 12TH, 10TH, and 8TH for the position of Soldier.

The Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of all districts of Sikkim State from 07 May 2020 to 10 May 2020 at Palzor Stadium, Gangtok, Sikkim. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 07 Feb 2020 to 21 Apr 2020. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through e-mail from 22 Apr 2020 to 28 Apr 2020. Candidates should reach the venue on a given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card. The Candidates will be screened for the following Categories and as per the Qualitative Requirements mentioned below.
The Educational Qualification required for Soldier, General Duty is Class 10th / Matric Pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading sys minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
The Educational Qualification required for Soldier Technical is 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. The Educational Qualification required for Soldier Technical (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner) is 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
The Educational Qualification required for Soldier Nursing Assistant / Nursing Assistant Veterinary is 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
The Educational Qualification required for Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical is 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
The Educational Qualification required for Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) is Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject
The Educational Qualification required for Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) is Class 8 Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper). No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject. The age of the candidate as on 01 Oct 2020 should be 17 ½ Years to 21 Years and 17 ½ Years to 23 Years.
The Documents required are Admit Card, Education Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Religion Certificate, School Character Certificate, Character Certificate, Unmarried Certificate, Relationship Certificate, NCC Certificate, Sports Certificate, Affidavit, Single Bank A/C, PAN Card and Aadhar Card.

The selection procedure is as follows; Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement, Medical Test, Written Test through Common Entrance Examination. The Candidate can apply in only one category.
