Coimbatore: The Indian Army has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 12TH, 10TH, and 8TH for the position of Soldier.

For the Post of Soldier, Technical the educational qualification required is 10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
For the Post of Soldier, Technical Nursing Assistant (AMC)/ Nursing Assistant Veterinary (RVC) the educational qualification required is 10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and Minimum 40% marks in each subject OR 10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and Minimum 40% marks in each subject.
For the Post of Soldier, General Duty (All Arms) the educational qualification required is Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading is a minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
For the Post of Soldier, Tradesman (All Arms) the educational qualification required is 8 TH Class Pass. Class 8th simple pass (for House Keeper& Mess Keeper). No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject. Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject.
For the Post of Soldier, Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) the educational qualification required is 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.
The age of the candidates will be counted as on 01 Oct 2020. 17.5 Years to 23 years. The documents required are as follows. Admit Card, Photographs, Education Certificate, Nativity/Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Religion Certificate, School Character Certificate, Character Certificate, Unmarried Certificate, No Involvement Certificate, details of the Previous Rally, Relationship Certificate, NCC Certificate, Aadhar Card and PAN Card.
