Shilong: The Indian Army has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 12TH, 10TH, 8TH for the position of Soldier.
The name of the recruiting company is the Indian Army. The name of the Post is a soldier. There are 6 vacant posts. The job location is in Shilong. The last date to apply is 18.4.2020.
For Soldier, General Duty the qualification required is Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
For Soldier, Technical (Nursing Assistant) the qualification required is 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% marks aggregate and 40% marks in each subject or 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
For Soldier, Technical the qualification required is 10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
For Soldier, Clerk/SKT the qualification required is 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Account/Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.
For Soldier, Tradesman the qualification required is Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum 33% in each subject.
For Soldier, Tradesman the qualification required is Class 08th Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper). No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum 33% in each subject. The age of the candidates should be between 17.5 to 23 years.
The documents required are Admit Card, Photograph, Education Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Religion Certificate, School Character Certificate, Character Certificate, Unmarried Certificate, Relationship Certificate, NCC Certificate, Sports Certificate, Affidavit and Single Bank A/c, Pan Card & Aadhar Card.
The important instructions that need to be kept in mind are as follows. Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking water with them since recruitment is a time-consuming process. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on the production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake Admit Card will be handed over to Civil Police. Recruitment into The Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay a bribe to anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. The Selection process during recruitment at all stages is transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage.
Candidates are advised to check their Age & Education Criteria before participating in the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting Education Criteria will be disqualified. Giving/taking bribe, production of bogus/fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under the law. Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing/attention of any type will not be accepted.
All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by Government Agencies before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or gave wrong information at the time of recruitment despite the number of years of service the individual may have rendered.
No compensation for Death/injury/loss etc. During the rally no travelling allowance/debases allowance for joey is admissible. Candidates will participate in the rally at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The signing of the indemnity bond is a Mandatory Requirement.
Use of Performance Enhancing Drugs. The use of any kind of Performing Enhancing Drugs is strictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening.
Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms that is from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of the Palm/back (Dorsal) Side of hand. Permanent Body Tattoos on any other part on the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection. In the case of Tattoo of Religious Nature, an Affidavit on the prescribed format will be submitted by the candidate.
