New Delhi: The Indian Army has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 10TH for the position of Soldier General Duty.
The name of the recruiting office is the Indian Army. The name of the Post is Soldier, General Duty. There is only a vacant post. The job location is in New Delhi. The last date to apply is 11.5.2020.
The essential educational qualification requires is Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following the grading system, Minimum D Grade (33-40) in each subject or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade. The candidate should be born between both dates inclusive which his 01 Oct 1999 to 01 Apr 2003. The age of the candidate should be between 17.5 years and 21 Years.
The essential documents that are required are Admit Card, Photograph Twenty copies of unattested Passport size color photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three-month-old, Education Certificates, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Religion Certificate, School Character Certificate, Character Certificate, Unmarried Certificate, Relationship Certificate, NCC Certificate, Sports Certificate, Affidavit and Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card.
The important instructions that need to be kept in mind are as follows: Candidates are advised to bring sufficient eatables and drinking water with them since recruitment is a time-consuming process. Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on the production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police.
Recruitment into the army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay a bribe to anyone for recruitment as it is based purely on merit. The selection process during recruitment at all stages is computerized and transparent. Therefore, candidates are advised to be beware of touts as they cannot help them at any stage. The use of any kind of performance-enhancing drugs is strictly banned. Candidates having been found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening. Tattoo Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms, that is, from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection.
If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited. The result of the written examination will be declared on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation. Mobile phones are not permitted in the rally site.

The selection procedure is based on Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement (At Rally Site), Medical Test, and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
The Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts of Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Badgam, Kupwara, Sopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kulgam from 27 May 2020 to 05 Jun 2020 at Sonarwani, Bandipora (Jammu and Kashmir). The gates will be opened at 0500 hrs and will be closed by 0700 hrs each day. Online Registration Is Mandatory and will be open from 28 Mar 2020 To 11 May 2020.
