Krishnagiri: In the early hours of Saturday morning in Krishnagiri’s Om Shanti Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Hosur Nagar Police Station, a break-in occurred at Ruben Bridge, a private company. The culprits accessed the upper section of the company and made off with approximately 3 lakh rupees from a secure box. Responding to a complaint, the police took action to apprehend those responsible. The operation was led by Mr. Babu Prashanth, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Hosur City, along with Police Assistant Inspector Mr. Prabhakaran, Head Constable Sudhakar, and First Level Constables Mr. Satish and Bharathiraja. Together, they successfully identified and detained the robbery suspects on the same day.
The arrested individuals, Srinivasan (24) of No 2 Thirumalai Kardhotagiri, Hosur Taluka, and Nandakumar (24) of No 193 Arundhati Street, Reddypatti, Salem District, were subjected to interrogation. It was uncovered during the investigation that both perpetrators were from the same locality and had stolen the 3 lakh rupees from the private company. The police managed to recover 2 lakh rupees of the stolen amount. Following their arrest, the suspects were presented before the Hosur court and subsequently confined to the Hosur branch jail as per the court’s directive.
