Along with this, according to the instructions of the Government of India and Police Headquarters, Bhopal, the National Gender Campaign “Nai Chetna” campaign is also being run with the aim of creating public awareness among the people regarding the eradication of crimes and discrimination and violence against women.
In this context, on December 20, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence/Headquarters) Mr. Rajat Saklecha and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women’s Security Branch) Mr. Pramod Sonkar and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Mrs. Manisha Pathak Soni, police teams visited various schools and colleges and institutions. and in settlements/colonies By reaching out among the people, the police are trying to make them aware of crimes against women and children and their safety and rights, cyber crimes and drug addiction, self-defense etc. by giving them important information.
In this series, on December 19, under the Safety Program of the District Administration, Women and Child Development Department, District Indore, Inspector Mrs. Radha Jamod, Sub-Inspector Mr. Shivam Thakkar from Police Department, Ms. Jaya Shetty of Akshar Social Service Committee, at the Indore Women’s Polytechnic College organized an awareness program at Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Army Welfare Women Association Family Welfare Center and at Yutika Heena Company located in Rau.Under the programs, the police and administration team trained the students and staff of the college, the women and girls of Women Education Family Welfare Center and the staff of Yutika Heena Company on crimes against women and children, exploitation and discrimination against them and their eradication. Detailed information was provided and also made aware about human trafficking.Along with this, they were given information related to various police helpline numbers, One Stop Center (Sakhi) and Energy Desk. Discussion was held on drug free campaign and cyber security.
