Thoothukudi: The disaster rescue training of the Thoothukudi Armed Forces Police was held today on 03.08.2024 at the premises of the Thoothukudi Vadabhagam Police Station. District Superintendent of Police Dr. Mr. .L. Balaji Saravanan reviewed and gave appropriate instructions on the tasks to be undertaken by the Armed Forces Constables. This disaster recovery exercise was conducted in the presence of the District Superintendent of Police by retired former Central Industrial Security Force veteran and volunteer and disaster recovery trainer Mr. Maria Michael conducted a training course for the said armed police on how to carry out rescue operations during natural calamities like rains and floods. During the above incidents, Armed Forces Police Inspector Mr. Sunaimurugan, Sub-Inspectors Mr. Venkatesan, Mrs. Kausalya and several policemen were present.
