Punjab, Bathinda: The Bathinda Police have intensified their efforts to combat the production and distribution of illicit liquor, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining law and order in the region. In a recent operation, the police team from Talwandi Sabo Police Station apprehended an individual involved in the illegal liquor trade. During the operation, authorities successfully seized a significant quantity of illicit substances, including 250 liters of raw liquor and 12 liters of processed liquor, from the accused’s possession. This action underscores the police’s proactive approach in tackling the menace of unlawful liquor manufacturing and distribution, which poses risks to public health and safety.
Further demonstrating their unwavering dedication to eradicating illegal activities, the Bathinda Police conducted another successful operation in the jurisdiction of Talwandi Sabo Police Station. Acting on intelligence inputs, the police arrested another individual engaged in the illicit liquor trade. The operation led to the recovery of 400 liters of lahan—a raw material used in the production of illicit liquor—along with 12 liters of processed liquor. Such decisive measures reflect the department’s commitment to maintaining a safe and crime-free environment for the residents of Bathinda.
