Kangra : Competition Kangra Today, on (02.12.2022), according to the instructions of Mrs. Sumedha Dwivedi IPS, Deputy Inspector General, North Division, Inter-Police Sub-Divisional Level Volleyball Competition was organized at Police Ground Dharamshala. In this competition, Mr. Badri Singh, HPS, Additional Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, District Kangra participated as the chief guest. A total of 4 police sub-divisions of Palampur, Dehra, Kangra and Dharamshala (headquarters) participated in the competition.
The first match was played between Police Sub Division Dharamshala (headquarters) and Dehra, in which the team of Police Sub Division Dharamshala was the winner. The second match was played between Police Sub Division Palampur and Kangra in which the team of Police Sub Division Palampur was the winner. The final match was played between the above two winning teams in which the team of Police Sub Division Palampur was victorious. Excellent sportsmanship was displayed by the players of all the teams, on the basis of whose performance the District Kangra Police Volley Team was formed. The chief guest felicitated the players of the winning team and also encouraged the participants of all the other teams. In continuation of this competition the Semi- Final matches will be held on 4.12.2022 The match of police volleyball team of district Kangra with district Una police and the match of volleyball team of police district Nurpur with district Chamba police team will be played at police ground district Chamba. The final match between the winning teams of both the above matches will be played on 6.12.2022 at Police Ground Dharamshala.
