New Delhi: In view of the forthcoming Republic Day Celebrations – 2026, an inter-state coordination meeting was convened today at the Police Headquarters (PHQ), Delhi, under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
Senior police officers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, along with representatives from various Central Intelligence and Enforcement Agencies, participated in the meeting.
The primary objective of the meeting was to enhance operational coordination and cooperation among law enforcement agencies across state borders, and to review security-related issues and preparatory measures associated with the forthcoming national celebrations.
During the meeting, participating agencies discussed intelligence sharing protocols, inter-state movement monitoring, deployment coordination, and other security arrangements to ensure smooth, safe, and dignified conduct of the Republic Day – 2026 celebrations.
