Banaganapalle : To acquire money in an easy manner the kidnappers chose a person from Banaganapalle to kidnap. As per their plan on 05.06.2023, observing that the person is going towards Bethancherla in his own vehicle, after crossing Sitaramapuram Metta of Bethancherla(M), they kidnapped him along with his son & driver who were already in the vehicle & demanded 4 crores to release them.
Even after taking 4 crores they rejected to release. So a complaint was given in Bethancherla Police Station. The Police registered a case, formed 4 teams & conducted intensive search for the kidnappers using advanced technology. On 29.06.2023, as per the reliable information received the police arrested 11 Inter State kidnappers at Bata Sunkulamma Gudi, Gutti(M) & at Kona Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, Chennekottapalli(M), Anantapur(D) and seized 40L cash, 4 cars, 3 cell phones & a knife from their possession.
