The accused has confessed to a total of ten cases under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. The police recovered gold ornaments weighing 264 grams, the stolen Duster car, and one mobile phone during the operation.

Nallamothu alias Nallamothula Suresh alias Yerrodu is a repeat offender with a history of over 70 property offenses. He started committing property offenses at a young age and continued his criminal activities even after being incarcerated multiple times. After forming connections with another professional property offender named Uma Maheshwar Rao in jail, they carried out theft and property offenses in Hyderabad, Rachakonda, and Cyberabad. Nallamothu was previously arrested by LB Nagar police and sent to jail. He was also arrested by CCS Vijayawada police and Kavali police for property offenses on separate occasions. Following his release, he resumed committing property offenses in the outskirts of Rachakonda, Cyberabad, and Kurnool town.

Nallamothu’s modus operandi involved traveling from his native village in Kamavarapukota, West Godavari district, to Hyderabad by bus. He would stay at Jimkana Grounds in Secunderabad or on the outskirts of the Outer Ring Road for approximately 15 days. During the night, he would travel to residential colonies and forcefully enter locked houses by breaking the door lock using a rod. Wearing gloves and socks, he would collect iron rods from nearby crime scenes. After committing the offenses, he would immediately return to his native village using a bus.

The successful apprehension of the accused and the recovery of stolen property were carried out under the supervision of Mr. DS Chauhan, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and the guidance of Mrs. B. Sai, DCP LB Nagar, Mr. P. Madhukar Swamy, DCP Crimes, Mr. M. Srinivasulu, Addl. DCP Crimes-1 of CCS LB Nagar, and Mr. K. Purushotham Reddy, ACP Vanastalipuram. The Commissioner of Police commended the CCS LB Nagar and Hayathnagar Police Station teams for their professionalism in detecting the night house burglary cases.
