Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore: Coimbatore is the second fastest growing city in Tamil Nadu, The district faces significant traffic challenges. On Avinashi Road, near KMCH (a private hospital), heavy traffic makes it difficult for the public, including school and college students, to cross the road safely. In response, Coimbatore Municipal Commissioner, Mr. V. Balakrishnan, inaugurated an automatic traffic signal system. The event was attended by KMCH Hospital Chairman, Arun Palanichami, along with senior police officers, E2 Police Station Inspector Kandasamy, and traffic constables.
