Madhya Pradesh: As per the recent order issued by the Home Department, transfers have been initiated to eight IPS officers of Inspector General (IG) and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) level. This has been a significant reshuffle of the Madhya Pradesh Police department. The transfer has been initiated upon Mr.Makrand Deouskar, a 1997-Batch officer. He has been transferred to the Hoshangabad zone as the Inspector General (IG). His current posting is at the Bhopal Police Headquarters. Mr. Deouskar will replace Mr. KC Jain, a 2000-Batch officer, who will be moved to the Headquarters as IGP. The Police officers who were moved to the police headquarters are Mr. GK Pathak, the Chhindwara Range Deputy IG; Mr. KB Sharma, Bhopal Rural DIG and Mr. DS Choudhary, Indore Rural DIG. All three Police officers belong to the 2002-Batch. Mr. Sanjay Tiwary a 2002-Batch officer who holds the post of DIG (Special Armed Force) has been appointed as DIG (Indore rural). DIG (Police Training and Research Institute) Mr. Sushant Kumar Saxena, a 2005-Batch officer, has been named the DIG (Chhindwara Range). Mr. Ashish, a 2005-Batch officer, who is presently the DIG Special Branch, will assume charges as DIG (Bhopal rural). ]]>
