Chennai: Commissioner of Police Mr. Shankar Jiwal, IPS, has ordered to take stringent action on Ganja sellers through the special action “DAD – Drive Against Drugs ” in Chennai City.
Following this, on 20.06.2021, on a discreet piece of information, a team led by the Inspector of Police, J8 Neelangarai Police Station conducted surveillance at ECR road and arrested Yogan Xavier (M/26) and Santhosh Kumar (M/24) both of Neelangarai for selling Ganja. 900 grams Ganja was recovered from them. Legal action is being pursued against the accused persons.
