JAIPUR: 77 videos of an alleged paedophile tutor molesting children among whom 11 victims had been identified and seized by was arrested Jaipur Police recently. A protest was staged by angry locals in Ramganj Police station of Jaipur’s old city area, demanding death penalty for the 27-year-old accused, Rameez, who used to work as a teacher and who was arrested two days ago. Deputy Commissioner of Police (north) Anshuman Bhomia said, Police are trying to track and persuade their parents of the children identified in the videos to lodge separate FIRs. “We have also detained a few people from the school where Rameez used to work, he said. We have information that in spite of children giving the school administration video proof of his wrongdoings, the just threw him out of the job without intimating Police” he added. Students had gone on a picnic in the third week of January, there the students managed to remove the memory card of Rameez’s mobile phone and gave it to the school administration, which didn’t approach the police but sacked him, Police said. Over a period of time Rameez had been committing crimes while he was hired as a private tutor for the children, Police said. The accused used to force children to film the videos of him molesting other kids, according to the police. ]]>
