Dindigul: Deepak Devkar, proprietor of a jewelry store in Perampur, Chennai, approached his friend Sanjay Jain, residing in Vepperi, Chennai, aged 52, to arrange a loan of 10 crores on interest. Sanjay Jain and his wife Raksha agreed to facilitate the loan for a commission of Rs. 1 crore. However, as Deepak Devkar had no cash, he proposed offering jewelry instead, which they accepted. Subsequently, Deepak Devkar met Sanjay Jain and Raksha in Nadda, Dindigul district, where he handed over 350 pounds of jewelry from his shop on the 21st of the preceding month. The couple assured they would secure the loan within two days but failed to do so, prompting Deepak Devkar to file a complaint at Natham Police Station in Dindigul District. Inspector Mr. Thangamunisamy registered the case and initiated a search for the elusive couple and the missing jewelry.
