Srinagar: In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of the Police Martyrs, Police in Baramulla facilitated an interaction meeting with Next of Kin’s (NOK’s) of Martyrs at DPL Baramulla.
The meeting was chaired by DySP DAR Baramulla Mr. Dr. Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, besides other officers of Police were also present on the occasion. The meeting was attended by large number of Next of Kin’s (NOK’s) of Police martyrs of District Baramulla.
The meeting was organized to take stock of the welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. The chairing officer while addressing the Next of Kin’s (NOK’s) of martyrs’ assured them that will be redressed on priority.
The chairing officer in his address assured the NOKs of every possible help and paid rich tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the sake of the nation. He also informed the participants about various welfare measures that are being taken by the Police Department for the welfare of the NOKs and all the Police units are committed to provide every possible assistance to the families of Police Martyrs. He further said that police martyrs are unforgettable members of Police Family and taking care of their NOKs is prime responsibility of police department as the martyrs sacrificed their lives for our better future. NOKs of Police Martyrs expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
