Pathankot: In a noteworthy development, the Pathankot Police have successfully apprehended two culprits who were operating a massive job scam. These unscrupulous individuals had managed to swindle a staggering amount of Rs.89.52 Lakhs from numerous unsuspecting individuals by enticing them with promises of lucrative employment within the FCI (Food Corporation of India).
During the investigation, law enforcement authorities discovered that the perpetrators had been issuing counterfeit appointment letters to their victims, providing them with a false sense of assurance and legitimacy. Additionally, they had also employed the use of bogus cheques as a means to further deceive their targets.
However, the diligent efforts of the Pathankot Police led to the arrest of these fraudsters. Subsequently, a significant amount of incriminating evidence, including the aforementioned counterfeit appointment letters and fake cheques, was recovered from their possession.
