Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh: Acting on the directions of District Superintendent of Police Shri G. Bindu Madhav, IPS, Kakinada District Police conducted a series of awareness programmes on Traffic Rules and Cyber Crime for various sections of the public.
The programmes were organized for school students, workers and management staff of Kaleswari Refinery and Industries Pvt. Ltd., as well as vehicle drivers at busy traffic junctions and congestion points. Police personnel sensitized participants about safe road practices, the importance of following traffic rules, and precautionary measures to prevent cybercrimes such as online fraud, phishing and misuse of personal data.
The interactive sessions aimed to create awareness, promote responsible behavior on roads and in digital spaces, and strengthen public cooperation with the police. The initiative reflects the proactive and people-friendly approach of Kakinada District Police in preventing accidents and cyber offences through education and community engagement.
