Andhra Pradesh, Kakinada: In a gesture of communal harmony and inclusivity, Kakinada District Superintendent of Police (SP) Sri Bindu Madhav, IPS, participated in the Iftar feast organized by the elders of Masjid-E-Sharifain within the premises of the Kakinada District Police Office on the evening of March 28, 2025.
As part of the observance of the holy month of Ramadan, special prayers were performed in the mosque located within the police office premises. During the occasion, SP Bindu Madhav conveyed heartfelt Ramadan greetings to the Muslim community, emphasizing the significance of unity, peace, and brotherhood in society.
Following the prayers, the mosque elders formally hosted the Iftar feast, where the SP and other dignitaries joined in breaking the fast. The event was marked by a spirit of togetherness, strengthening the bond between the police force and the local Muslim community.
The Iftar gathering was attended by several senior police officials, including Additional SP AR Sri S. Srinivas, Training ASP Kumari Susmitha, IPS, AR DSP Sri Srihari, Reserve Inspectors, mosque elders, and other officers of the district police. The event provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and reinforced the commitment of the district police to fostering religious harmony and community engagement.
