Kalaburagi: A man was arrested by Kalaburagi police for allegedly trying to transport counterfeit currency notes in baggage elsewhere.
The accused has been identified as Chinnasabha Malagi, a resident of Sedam Refugee Colony. Rs.4.22 lakh worth of counterfeit currency notes worth Rs.500, Rs.200, and Rs.100 were taken into custody by the police.
DCIB PSI Mr. Parashuram Wananjakara of Kalaburagi and the team seized a bike and a mobile from the possession of the accused, from where the counterfeiters were being prepared.
