Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, 22 July 2025: In a determined effort to eliminate drug trafficking from the region, Kangra Police conducted a successful raid in village Chhanni under the jurisdiction of Police Station Damtal. The operation targeted two habitual offenders, Jaswinder Pal alias Fauji and Paramjeet alias Pamma.
During the house search, police recovered 14.68 grams of chitta (heroin). Both accused were immediately arrested, and a case has been registered against them under Sections 21, 29, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act.
This action reflects the unwavering commitment of Kangra District Police to tackle the drug menace and maintain peace and safety in the district.
