Kanpur Nagar: An Indian citizen based in Philadelphia, USA got an alert about a robbery in his house at Kanpur Nagar at 11.38 pm IST on 17.1.2022 from the motion sensor of his CCTV camera. He viewed the robbers on his mobile phone through the CCTV camera. One of the robbers noticed the CCTV camera. Through his high-tech camera, he raised an alarm but the robber damaged the CCTV camera to escape the surveillance.
He immediately alerted his friends and relatives about it who promptly informed the Kanpur Nagar Police which reached the scene of the crime in no time. The police took immediate action and laid a siege of the house in which the robbers had entered and challenged them. During the operation, there was a cross-firing between the robbers and the police. After a brief exchange of fire, the Kanpur Police arrested one of the robbers. The house owner profusely thanked the Kanpur Nagar Police for their prompt action.
