Karimganj: Today evening a whopping 38,000 bottles of codeine-based cough syrup destined for international narcotics trades were recovered by the Badarpur Police Station team. The drugs worth at least Rs.2 crores were concealed carefully under stacks of cement bags. The huge catch of drugs was taken into police custody.
