BENGALURU: Former Bengaluru police commissioner and Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Bhaskar Rao will demit office on December 31 later the public authority endorsed his application for intentional retirement. He will be calmed from administration toward the finish of this current month. Rao affirmed that the public authority has cleared him for intentional retirement.
On reports that he would enter legislative issues in the wake of hanging up his boots, he said he has not settled on any such choice. “I might want to travel, instruct and invest energy with my family at my local spot,” he said.
An Indian Police Service (IPS) official of 1990 group, Rao had applied for willful retirement from administration (VRS) in September this year. In his application, he had mentioned to be soothed right away. His record was forthcoming with the main priest and it is as of late that the last option endorsed on it.
With the superannuation of Rao, a second post of ADGP rank will fall empty in the state. The post of ADG, Communications, Logistics and Modernisation is empty. The post of Bengaluru police magistrate also is of ADGP rank.
