Kerala, Kasaragod: The District Police Sports Festival 2024 was held on (13/12/24) at the District Police Headquarters. The Chief Guest was District Police Chief Smt. Shilpa D. IPS inaugurated the event. The event was presided over by the Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Kasaragod Additional SP Shri Balakrishnan Nair P. DySP Uttamdas (Assistant Commandant in Charge DHQ Kasaragod) also welcomed the participants. Dr. Aparna IPS (ASP Trainee), DySPs Shri Sunil Kumar CK, Manoj VV, Babu Peringeth, Sunil Kumar M, Chandrakumar N, Unnikrishnan V were present at the event. The parade held as part of the inauguration ceremony was attended by teams from Kasaragod, Bekal, Kanhangad Sub-Divisions, Special Unit and DHQ Kasaragod. This was followed by various sports and cultural programs. In the sports event, Kasaragod Sub-Division came first with 82 points, DHQ Kasaragod came second with 72 points and Bekal Sub-Division came third with 33 points.
