To select between dim and bright modes, a lever is provided on the headlight-turn indicator. The bright mode is designed to direct light more precisely, illuminating objects over a distance of 100 meters or more. Activating the bright mode can be identified by the blue light on the meter console.
Ensuring proper usage of lighting modes is essential. Dim mode should be employed on well-lit city streets, while bright mode is suitable for highways and dark roads. When a vehicle is within 200 meters ahead or approaching from the opposite direction, it is crucial to switch to the dim mode. To signal the driver of the vehicle in front when overtaking, intermittently illuminate your headlights instead of using the horn at night. On curves, it is advisable to alternate between dim and bright modes to alert oncoming vehicles of your presence. If your vehicle’s headlights are in bright mode, an oncoming vehicle flashing its lights indicates a request to dim them.
